We are developing a physics-based diagnostic for virus particle detection. The detection system is tunable to any virus (including, but not limited to COVID-19), is sample agnostic (breath, saliva, blood, etc), and easy to use (reagent-free). It also is highly sensitive, has a fast response time, and is low-cost - allowing for mass screening potential in both clinical and non-clinical venues, such as airports, schools/universities, nursing homes, restaurants, entertainment centers, etc.
The specific product we would like named is a breathalyzer diagnostic test that detects viruses, such as COVID-19, in the same way that breathalyzers are used for alcohol detection.
Obviously we do not want to use "breathalyzer" which everyone associates with an alcohol test. Rather, we want a product name that taps into the familiarity of a simple breath test, but is new and different and able to detect virus. The test could also be used on saliva.
